“Established in 2004 as an adventure company Bugaloo enables people to experience the thrills and excitement of motor car and powerboat racing. Over the last few years, however, activities expanded and Bugaloo Adventures has now developed and grown into an events company focusing on corporate and family group events.
With headquarters in and operating out of Franschhoek in the Western Cape, it’s goal is to provide a facility where companies and groups can arrange break-aways and team building exercises for their employees and members in a safe and fun-filled environment with peace of mind and the knowledge that the event will be organized in a professional and satisfactory manner.
In a addition to the corporate events offered, Bugaloo also offers wedding functions and a wedding venue in Franschhoek at its restaurant “”Cafe Antoinette”” set in the beautiful gardens of the Huguenot Monument and Museum.

Special jetski, waterski, and high-speed boat “”group and family “” adventures are being offered at their West coast venue as well as an inland venue near Franschhoek. Bugaloo adventures are ideal for your specific function or event as it combines fun with excitement and adventure.
Land-based activities range from product and company promotions to riddle hunts and “fear factor” experiences. For the prospective racing drivers out there we offer motorcar gymkhanas and motorcar teambuilding events. With our water-based activities, you will participate and experience the thrill of high-speed boat rides and enjoy Jet Ski challenges where you are at the helm. You can also experience inflatable boat racing as a co-pilot racing against your friends, customers or colleagues. Tube and snake rides will ensure a wet and wild time.
If you prefer something more relaxed, we offer picnics and cultural events at our restaurant and gardens in Franschhoek

Our adventures are available from all our branches. An event for a group, however, can be arranged almost anywhere, as our equipment is mobile.

Jetski Seafaris, Waterski, and Boat Trips:
Bugaloo offers Boat trips ranging from High-speed blasts for the thrill seekers to sightseeing island trips and Waterski and tube ride outings suitable to all participants. Trips are flexible and will be structured to your specific needs
With our Jetski Seafari and jetski challenge options, Bugaloo adventures also offer an exciting opportunity where you drive yourself and are in full control.
Over many months we have worked with the Department of Marine and Coastal Management and have agreed to a code of conduct for Jetski Seafari’s that will ensure a safe and enjoyable trip for our customers without disturbing the environment or irritate other people. Bugaloo adventures only utilize the latest model Jetski which complies with international environmental requirements. Gone are the days of noisy, smoking Jetski’s and most certainly no bad behavior by drivers are tolerated.
The use of programmable electric keys for our Jetski’s makes it possible to control the speed suitable for beginners, all the way to a racing key which will only be issued to experienced customers.
Safety is important to us and all packages will be adapted to your specific skills and abilities, from novice to expert.
