C-Kite

Overlooking a dazzling lagoon on the Cape West Coast, 120 kilometers from Cape Town, South Africa, Langebaan is known for its calm waters and ideal wind speeds. Welcome to kitesurfing/kiteboarding nirvana.

Situated within throwing distance of Langebaan’s Main beach in South Africa, C-Kite is a kite surfing school/shop and is a family operated business with a serious policy of having fun. Our world-class instructors are super-friendly and attentive, and eager to get young-spirited adventure seekers of all ages cruising on the water. As for intermediate and experienced kite surfers, if you have a kite surfing bucket list then Langebaan should definitely be on it.

On the other hand, if you’re not a wind-hungry adrenalin junkie interested in aerial maneuvers we’ve got you covered too. We organize excursions from wildflower viewing and lighthouse exploring to micro beer tasting and game viewing. We can even throw in a salty fish rally. Tell us the activities you would like to experience in the West Coast region and we’ll arrange them for you. Alternatively, book one of our tours. While displaying the obligatory laid back kite surfer vibe, our instructors are in fact, vigilant professionals. They put your safety first followed by uninterrupted fun in the sun.

When selecting an instructor its important to remember that being a great kitesurfer does not necessarily translate into world-class instruction. At C-Kite, we employ professionally qualified instructors only, not kite surfers ‘qualified’ by experience. Instruction includes private one-on-one or group lessons (2 persons) pitched at various levels for beginners, intermediates, and pros. We use Ocean Rodeo kites for optimal safety and performance.

COMPLETELY CLUELESS
(Beginners)

Private fee (just you) R650 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours. R6000 for 10-hour course.

Includes your instructor, wetsuit, impact vest, helmet, harness, kite, board, bar, and lines. Also includes rescue boat, radio communication, a storage locker with a combination lock for personal items, and free WiFi at our C-Kite shop.

Group fee (you and your BF) R475 per hour per person (min 2 hours).

Includes a shared instructor, individual wet suit (certain sizes), impact vest, and helmet with shared kite, board, bar, and lines. Also includes indemnity insurance (subject to notice), individual storage lockers, each with a combination lock for personal items, and free WiFi at our C-Kite shop.

GOT A CLUE
(Refresher)
